Dear collaborators, Following a strategic succession plan implemented over the past few years, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜̧𝐨𝐢𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐱 has decided to step down from the role of CEO at the beginning of this year, after more than 16 years at the head of 1200 Degrees. Under Mr. Proulx's leadership, 1200 Degrees has achieved significant milestones, accumulating numerous business successes. At its beginning in 2009, the company had just one place of business with 17 employees. Today, it is established in three divisions, in two provinces, with over 70 employees, enabling 1200 Degrees to become a major pillar in the North American fire industry. His business acumen and ability to inspire, innovate and rally teams played an essential role in creating the organization we know today. François certainly left his mark on the collective imagination with his unique sense of humour and colourful stories. We offer him our sincere gratitude for his commitment and dedication. Mr. Proulx will continue his involvement in the organization as Chairman of the Board. 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐄𝐎 We are honored to announce that 𝐌𝐫. 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐮 will now assume the role of CEO of 1200 Degrees. Mr. Rondeau has risen rapidly through the ranks, holding the positions of sales representative and sales manager. He was General Manager of two of the Group's divisions and, until recently, Vice-President and co-shareholder of 1200 Degrees. His entrepreneurial successes, combined with his ambitious and colorful personality, have led him to where he is today. He is a pillar of the company, and it was with this goal in mind that the transition was initiated several years ago. As CEO, Guillaume brings unrivalled industry expertise, strategic leadership, strong supplier relationships and a clear vision for taking our organization to new heights. Building on his many previous contributions, he is committed to continuing, in his own way, the successful trajectory charted by his predecessor, while exploring new opportunities to consolidate our market position and meet the new challenges of our industry. We are convinced that this change will strengthen our momentum and pave the way for a new phase of growth and innovation for 1200 Degrees. We would like to warmly thank Mr. Proulx for all he has contributed to the company and wish Mr. Rondeau all the success as new CEO of 1200 Degrees.
